Harriet Alterowitz's background is one of dance and fitness and she has worked as a ballet instructor, personal trainer, coach and group exercise leader. Harriet came to yoga as a way to balance the stresses and strains that physical activity put on the body. Through the practice of yoga, she found the answer to integrating the body with the mind and the soul. Harriet recently completed certification as a restorative yoga teacher through "Relax and Renew" with Judith Lasater. She has also studied with many yoga masters, mostly in the Iyengar tradition, and enjoys combining the foundational alignment of Iyengar yoga with the flow and creativity of vinyasa yoga. She teaches classes in Missoula at The Women's Club and also offers private sessions to interested students. Harriet is known for sharing a fun, heart-felt practice both to groups and individuals and believes that the benefits derived from yoga practice expand to all beings, everywhere.

In addition to teaching yoga, Jennifer Brooke is a physical therapist, specializing in utilizing yoga as a tool for treating back pain or other injuries. Jen's early background of yoga was primarily with Iyengar teachers learning foundational alignment and precision for yoga asana. At the present time, Jen is concentrating her study with Tias Little for intensive study of yoga philosophy, wisdom, meditation, and asana. Jen believes yoga is a life long learning adventure. Because of this varied background, Jen teaches an integrated style, bringing all eight limbs of yoga into her classes in an experiential way. She focuses on alignment, breath, self-discovery and fun. Jen encourages and empowers her students to tap into their inner source of wisdom and strength in order to make the practice their own. Her teaching philosophy includes being open to all yoga traditions and she brings a classical, yet multi-dimensional aspect to her classes.
